Dried Juniper Berries (Juniper Oxycedrus)
These berries have been naturally dried, meaning that they have not gone through any machinery in order to extract the moisture. Organic means the plants have been grown by natural means on unpolluted land without the use of chemical fertilizes, pesticides or herbicides. They have not been fumigated, irradiated, sulphured,bleached or genetically altered.. They have been picked from their wild or natural setting, and are not cultivated. They are grown in their natural environment without human intervention.
The green fruits appear on the female plant and take around three years to ripen, eventually turning dark blue or black in color.
The Juniper is a small shrub, 4 to 6 feet high, widely distributed throughout the Northern Hemisphere.
