About Fattoria Valle Magica
Fattoria Valle Magica was born from a simple idea: to create a place where nature, animals, food and people can meet in a real, unforced way.

I’m Ralph, the owner and creator of Fattoria Valle Magica, and the person who welcomes you, guides visits, looks after the animals, and shapes what this place becomes. Fattoria Valle Magica is not managed from a distance or handed over to people you never see. It is lived in, worked in, and cared for every day.

This farm sits in the Abruzzo countryside and is home to a small collection of animals, many of them traditional or rare breeds. They are not here as a backdrop or an attraction. They are part of the daily rhythm of the place. Visitors are invited to slow down, observe, ask questions, and reconnect with a more natural pace of life.

Fattoria Valle Magica is also home to my children. They grow up here, surrounded by animals, open space, and the freedom to explore. Sometimes they help, sometimes they disappear into their own adventures, and that is exactly how it should be. Their presence keeps this place honest, curious, and human.

Food is another essential part of Fattoria Valle Magica. What we offer is simple, seasonal, and connected to the land around us, whether it is something shared during a visit or taken home to enjoy later. Nothing here is rushed or overproduced.

Fattoria Valle Magica is not a theme park, and it is not a polished formula. It is a place that continues to grow, change, and evolve, shaped by the seasons, the animals, the people who visit, and the conversations that happen along the way.

Visits are not handed over to rotating staff or run on a script. I am present, and I guide the experience myself. This allows conversations to happen naturally and each visit to adapt to the people who are here.

The animals at Fattoria Valle Magica are not props or background scenery. Many are traditional or rare breeds, and their wellbeing always comes before entertainment. Visitors are invited to observe, learn, and interact with respect rather than rush through a checklist.

Fattoria Valle Magica is a place where you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy being present. On visit days, experience days, and school visits, the pace is calmer and more relaxed, allowing time to explore, ask questions, and connect with the animals, the land, and each other.
This is the side of Fattoria Valle Magica where curiosity, learning, and quiet moments take centre stage.
And there are days when the farm comes alive.
At other times, Fattoria Valle Magica takes on a very different energy. During our events, the farm becomes a place of music, shared tables, laughter, and celebration.

These days bring together influences from Irish, British, and American traditions, blended with local Italian celebrations, creating something familiar and unexpected at the same time. They are social, lively, and designed to be enjoyed together.
Food is part of the experience, not an add-on.
